Introduction The couverts plugin offers an alternative way of embedding the Couverts reservation system on your website. The templates are based on Bootstrap 4. Prerequisits To use it, you will have to request an API key from Couverts. Once you obtained a valid key, you need to define these in your wp-config.php as follows: define('COUVERTS_API_KEY','Your-API-Key'); define('COUVERTS_RESTAURANT_CODE','Your-Restaurant-Code'); // Set this if you are ready to go live. Otherwise it will use the // Test API URL define('COUVERTS_API_URL','https://api.couverts.nl/'); // Optionally you need to define this as either Dutch or English // define('COUVERTS_LANGUAGE','Dutch'); Alternatively you can also define these variables as enviroment variables in a .env file in your project (if you are using a bit more custom setup as for example roots/bedrock). Customization You may want to adjust the code that is generated. To do so you simply copy the templates directory from the plugin into your theme. You can then adjust them at will. Usage You can embed the reservation in two ways: Use the [couverts] shortcode somewhere in your content Call the couverts_reservation() function from somewhere in your templates.
