This plugin is not an exception. It has four sets of settings – Markers, Layout, Map and Style. Let’s examine these settings now, and see what they can do. Markers Tab – add multiple markers The first setting tab is called Markers. This is pretty much the most important of all tabs, as it is here that you set the markers that are going to be displayed on your Google map. Setting a marker is now a matter of typing your office address. You just enter the address of the location to the Position field, and the marker will appear on the map straight away! After you’ve set the marker, you can select one of 20+ predefined icons, or keep the default one. This is also the tab where you fill in the info window. Info window is a popup that appears over the marker on your map. The information that you can add to it is image, address, website URL, phone number, email and working hours. Take a photo of your stylish office and add it to the info card – your customers will love it! To attract even more attention to your location, you can choose an animation mode for the marker. We are offering you two predefined animations – drop and bounce. Layout Tab – set the right size After you’ve set the markers for your map, it’s time to set its size. You can do this on Layout tab. By default, the widget’s width is set at auto, which means that it will calculate its width automatically, depending on the width of the block you’re going to place it in. However, you’re free to set any value you need. The height of the map is also easy to set, just indicate the required height in pixels, and you’re done. Widget Tab – manage your map The next tab is Map. This tab allows you to do lots of things, in terms of defining your map’s style, appearance and usage. The first crucial option here is Center. This is where you set the center of your map. Afterwards, the position of the markers will be calculated according to what is set as the center. To configure this option, you need to select one of the three supported types – address, coordinates or auto, and indicate its value in Center field. The Auto option is set by default, is calculates the center automatically. The next option is Zoom. It is by default set to 16 to display the city’s streets. However, you’re welcome to set your own value, from 0 to 20. When set to auto, Zoom will be calculated automatically, to display all the markers on your map, so that your site’s visitors don’t have to scroll to see each marker. By the way, you can scale the widget simply by using your mouse wheel. This option is also enabled on the Map tab. The option you can set after Zoom is Map Type. Select one of the 4 predefined options to display the widget in the most appropriate way. On the Map tab you can also choose the controls to be used with your widget. To do it, you only need to check the right options. The last but not the least you can do on the widget tab, is set the layers to be displayed on your map – traffic, bike, transit and street view. Style Tab – choose your colors The last of the settings tabs is called Style. Here you can select one of the four color schemes and set the custom colors. As you can see, we did it again! Once again we’ve created a functional and customizable plugin that works in a stable way and is as easy as a piece of cake! We really hope that you will check it out and have a great user experience with it.
