This plugin uses the biblegateway.com servers and a modified version of their javascript Bible ref tagger, which is provided publically here. Usage is encouraged for anyone on their websites here and more specifically, under this section. This hereby complies to the WP requirement of having specific permission to use links to other sites. The reason for creating this plugin was to allow WP users who speak Swedish to also make references to the Bible in Swedish, since simple cutting and pasting js code into a main theme footer for example is not advisable on a WP site. Now a WP-admin/blogger, can just activate the feature through this plugin instead. The current version uses Svenska folkbibeln 2015, but plans are there to make other versions selectable also, as more people get exposed to this plugin.
